Powder, spray, cream or brush-on

The form does not change what the label treats. It changes how the product goes on, how far a pack goes and what an ounce costs.

Which form of Hongo Killer should I choose?

Choose by where it goes and how you like to apply it. The line has 4 forms: powder for whole feet in closed shoes, cream for a small patch, liquid spray for no-touch use, brush-on for skin beside a nail.

Dry forms

A powder leaves a dry layer on the skin and in the sock. The shake-on bottle is the plain version: 7.05 oz (200 g) for $14.80.

The spray powder puts the same tolnaftate 1% in an aerosol, so nothing touches the skin but the powder. It costs more per ounce and it carries the warnings every aerosol carries.

Wet forms

A cream is the slow, exact way: a thin layer, rubbed in, on a patch you can see. A liquid spray covers faster and dries on the skin.

The brush-on solution is the narrowest tool in the line. One fluid ounce and a brush in the cap suit the skin beside a nail, not a whole foot.

Does the form change what Hongo Killer treats?

The form does not, the active ingredient does. 3 Hongo Killer panels list jock itch beside athlete's foot and ringworm, and the others list only those 2.

Read the Uses on the panel before the name on the front.
