Editorial
Editorial policy
These products are over-the-counter drugs, so the facts about them come from their labels and from public health sources.
Label facts
Active ingredients, uses, warnings and directions come straight from the Drug Facts panels. Two readers transcribed each panel independently, and we compared both readings with the label text on file with the FDA at DailyMed. Where the two readings disagree, the line stays off the page.
General information
General statements about athlete's foot, jock itch and ringworm quote the CDC, MedlinePlus, Mayo Clinic, the American Academy of Dermatology and the Code of Federal Regulations. Each quote carries a link and the date we read the page.
Not medical advice
Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis or a promise of a result. Use a product as its label directs, and ask a doctor or pharmacist about your own case.
Reviews
We quote buyer reviews in full and unedited, critical ones among them. We leave out any review that reports a medical outcome, whether it praises or complains, because outcomes belong to the label and to your doctor.
Corrections
If something here does not match the pack in your hand, the pack is right. Tell us at steps@hongo-killer.com and we will correct the page.
